The British College 2nd Graduation Ceremony 2022

On 15th December, The British College held its 2nd Graduation Ceremony of 2022 at the Soaltee Hotel, to celebrate the conferment of awards for MSC IT students graduating from Leeds Beckett University (LBU) and BBA students graduating from The University of the West of England (UWE). 

 

Mahendra Kandel, Executive Director of The British College inaugurated the ceremony by lighting the Panas and delivering a welcome speech. When asked about the ceremony he said, "Not everyone was able to attend our first Graduation Ceremony earlier in the year and it is important to us that the achievements of each and every graduate is celebrated. So whether you have traveled from overseas, supported us from within Nepal, or joined us via video link - I would like to thank everyone who made this day possible". 

 

Distinguished  guests at the ceremony included Industry Advisory Board Members, Birendra Raj Pandey and Prachanda Man Shrestha. In addition, the Executive Principal, Mary Bishop and the Head of International Partnerships (College of Business and Law), Patricia Voiden, sent special video messages. A number of graduates also gave speeches, including BBA Student, Niraj Pratap Shah, and MSc IT Student, Tarun Khatri, before the conferment of awards began. 

 

The Associate Dean of Academics, Arun Joshi, then closed the ceremony with a speech and said, “Seeing award-winning students take to the stage today truly shows how well our graduates have done and reflects what a great team we have here. I would like to thank all the staff and faculty who helped them to get here, and who have helped to make this day such a great success”.
