Dr Maria Emerita Indraningrum Shrestha

Dr Maria Shrestha is a dedicated educator and academic leader with over 30 years of experience in higher education in Indonesia and Nepal. Originally from East Java, Indonesia, she became a Nepali citizen in 1998 and has played a key role in developing Nepal’s higher education system.

She has served as associate dean at The British College, vice principal at Kathmandu College of Management, and principal at Nepal College of Management. Her expertise lies in decision science, operations management, project management, and sustainability. She was awarded the Woman in Education Leadership Award in 2017 for her outstanding contributions.
