Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Faculty Member in Computing to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong subject knowledge, a passion for teaching, and direct experience with the Pearson BTEC curriculum.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of teaching experience

 

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with the Pearson BTEC curriculum
  • Strong understanding of academic policies and procedures related to Pearson qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective classroom management and student mentoring abilities
     

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lectures in line with the Pearson BTEC curriculum
  • Prepare and update assignment briefs as per Pearson guidelines
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback on student work, adhering to Pearson assessment criteria
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive course files, student records, and evidence of assessment
  • Coordinate with Pearson representatives and manage Standards Verifier (SV) visits
  • Ensure adherence to internal and external quality assurance procedures
  • Participate in academic planning, curriculum development, and moderation activities
  • Provide academic support and mentorship to students, guiding them toward achieving their learning goals
