Vacancy for Academic Director

The British College offering British and international qualifications equipping our graduates with the knowledge, skills and values they need for success in the global job market and becoming creative entrepreneurs is seeking to recruit qualified, competent, determined, self-motivated and enthusiastic candidates for the post of Academic Director to set up international standard. The prospective candidates must meet following criteria:

 

Number of required positions: 1

Type of Employment: Time Bound (extendable)

Working Station: As designated by the College

Potential Date of Employment Commencement: within February 2023

 

Major Roles and Responsibilities

 

  • Lead innovation and strategic plan for the academic solution to deliver on the long term mission of the organisation
  • Build capability within the curriculum team by bringing global best practices in pedagogy and also design and build subject matter expertise
  • Lead a deep understanding of teacher and student context in schools to create a relevant and meaningful academic solution
  • Collaborate with technology to create innovative academic solutions that leverage technology in the classroom & at home
  • Work collaboratively with the Academic Development Team to create content i.e., write lesson plans, develop audio/visual resources and develop student resource books & assessments
  • Coordinate with other Academic Department Team in sharing faculty and other educational and instructional ideas
  • Develop educational process and policies to meet curriculum goals
  • Take responsibility for academic quality and precision of the school 

 

Qualification: 

  • Doctorate degree preferred
  • Masters’ degree required 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Identify document (Citizenship/Passport)
  • Proven working experience in college/H.E student education development
  • Excellent leadership and analytical skills
  • Proven working experience in designing and creating learning solutions
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills including strong interpersonal skills
  • Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • 15+ years of experience in relevant field
  • Having knowledge and experience in British Education System will value add
