Oct/Nov Message From the Executive Principal, Professor Mary Bishop

As October comes to a close and we welcome November, we are celebrating two of the country's biggest festivals, Dashain and Tihar. This is a great opportunity for both students and staff to enjoy time with their families and prepare for the new semester.

Once we return from the festival break, we will be finalising preparations for our 2021 Graduation Ceremony. We have approximately 390 students who will be graduating from The British College with their University of West of England (UWE) or Leeds Beckett University (LBU) degrees.

I am confident it will be a great success and I know that the team will make sure it is a truly special occasion for our deserving students. I share with them the joy and excitement this event represents and encourage them to be especially proud as they have had to overcome so many pandemic-related difficulties over the past two years to get to where they are today.

While we say goodbye to our students as graduates, we welcome them as alumni and valued members of the TBC family, who will soon be contributing to the growth of their alma mater - working with staff, peers, and colleagues to support TBC students. In line with this objective, our Student Services Division is organising an alumni conference, so if you would like to take part or just find out some more information, then please send an email to alumni@thebritishcollege.edu.np.

I truly hope you had a wonderful Dashain and I wish you and your family the very best for Tihar.
