Course Introduction

Foundation classes for ACCA are designed to offer applicants who do not have the required qualifications, a programme which will equip them with a robust toolkit of academic, digital and personal skills required for successful study in the main ACCA course.

These foundation courses allow you to develop the skills you will need to succeed in Knowledge level ACCA examinations. It prepares you for the main course by building your subject knowledge if your qualifications aren't at a level to allow you to pass comfortably for the first time in ACCA assessments.

Instructor’s Profile

FBT: Mr Bikram Maharjan is currently involved in BPC as an ACCA tutor. He has been working for a UK Accounting firm since 2016 and started his own UK Outsourcing Accounting Firm in Nepal. Mr Maharjan has a wide range of experience in accounts and financial management. He completed his ACCA in 2017 from BPP University and BSC (Hons) in applied accounting from Oxford Brookes University in 2016. 

FMA: Mr Umashankar Jaiswal is a prominent faculty at British Professional College and is currently engaged in various renowned educational institutions of Nepal. Mr Umashankar Prasad is a highly accomplished and results-driven professional with 4+ years’ extensive experience in teaching, class management, student evaluation & assessment, implementation, monitoring and curriculum development. He is an ACCA Affiliated member and has been teaching ACCA papers since 2015. Mr Jaiswal has a wide range of experience in the field of accounts and financial management.  

FFA: Mr Dipendra K Shrestha is currently involved in BPC as ACCA Associate Programme  Manager and is also a prominent faculty member for ACCA. Mr Shrestha has completed his ACCA along with an MBA in Finance and BSc in Mathematics from BPP University the UK, University of Gloucestershire, UK and Tribhuvan University, Nepal respectively. Mr Shrestha has more than 6 years of teaching experience at different levels with various professional experiences in the UK and in Nepal. He has also taken different training relevant to the teaching-learning process.
