The first British Education Group Futsal Tournament took place on Friday 9th February- with 12 teams from the Group participating, including The British College, the British Model College, the British Professional College and The Westminster College - which was victorious in all three categories.

All teams were composed of both male and female students, as well as staff members. In the first game, Westminster’s Male Students' team defeated the British Professional College in a penalty shootout. Westminster's Female Student Team then also won the trophy by defeating the British Model College in a penalty shootout. And finally, to top things off, in the staff category, Westminster staff defeated the British College staff 1- 0 and claimed the title in all three rounds. 

Along with the winning title, Westminster's three teams received trophies, medals, and cash prizes at the end of the event. The Head of Schools at British Education Group, Arun Kumar Kandel was at the event, and said of the occasion, “The organisation of this competition highlighted the importance that The British Education Group places on the sound health and mind of our students. Additionally, it provided an opportunity for students and staff from various institutions in the Group to come together. So, I would like to extend my congratulations and appreciation to them all”. 

Expressing his joy over winning all three titles, Mr Arun Lal Joshi, the Head of The Westminster College, said, “We're delighted to share our remarkable victory across all tournament categories. This success is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our team members and volunteers, and I extend my sincere congratulations to them all.”
