About BIC

The British International College (BIC) was established by The Kandel Group in Nepal in 2020.   The Kandel Group opened their first education institute, The British College (TBC), in Kathmandu in 2011. TBC is now the flagship British Higher Education College in Kathmandu - and the Kandel Group has expanded to open educational establishments across Nepal, Dubai, and London.

The British College currently has two sister schools: The British Professional College (BPC) offering professional courses including the ACCA, and The British Model College (BMC) delivering the A Levels programme. The British International College (BIC) will now be joining them, and working with TBC to deliver all of its courses under the British College brand across the two campuses, in the Kathmandu Trade Tower and Chakupat.

About Keele University

Keele University was established in 1949 and is now the largest campus-based University in the UK. The University has a broad academic portfolio and a reputation for providing an excellent student experience - as evidenced by winning “The Best University in the UK” award in the nationwide Student Crowd Awards. These awards are voted for by students and we look forward to their positive experiences being shared by our students here in Nepal.

All of Keele’s programmes are research-led and in total, they have three faculties which offer a broad range of subject disciplines. Keele is a Gold awarded institution under the UK Teaching Excellence Framework and has a global network of over 100,000 alumni in 120 countries - and we are very proud to be joining that community.

Programmes We Offer

At The British International College, we currently offer two programmes. Each one is awarded by Keele University, UK and taught by highly qualified international faculty here in Nepal.
