Accommodation for Students
We understand that college life can be a stressful time, especially if you are far from home. Keeping our students’ best interests in mind, TBC has coordinated with local hostel owners for affordable and accessible accommodation. Our accommodation facilities are in a convenient location, both close to the College and in the centre of Kathmandu. The student service team connects students with appropriate accommodation options to match specific needs; students can opt for semi-furnished or fully-furnished rooms along with many other facilities mentioned below.
If you have never lived away from home or are new to Kathmandu, you may have lots of questions about finding the right place to live. Before you begin searching, you'll need to work out your priorities: what you can afford; how important it is for you to be close to the college and what your living requirements include. We have contacts with hostels which provide the following:
- Located in the city centre; walking distance or a bus ride to the College.
- Close to the College, markets, cafes, and restaurants.
- Semi-furnished accommodation ranging from single to shared rooms.
- By request; fully furnished single bedroom (at a higher price).
- Not more than 50 students living in each hostel.
- Provision Nepali meals.
- Staff on site 24 hours per day, seven days a week.
- Laundry service (twice a week) available.
- Free WiFi.
- Hot water.
- Parking spaces.
We hope to match students with the accommodation that they need to support both lifestyle and study with proper facilities and a homely atmosphere.
