Friday evening witnessed a celebration for newly enrolled British Model College students. Freshers were welcomed to the BMC family with open arms in an extravagant party organised by the Student Committee. Students arrived in style at the Star Venue, Naxal, for a gala night with music, dance and much more. The highlight of the event was a competition for Mr and Ms Freshers 2017. As student talents were put on show for judges in three different rounds, they were assessed on the basis of their introduction, talent and question answering skills. Roshan James Rasaili and Namila Bajracharya were crowned as Mr and Ms Freshers 2017. Participants were also awarded in other categories, with Ojaswhi Ojha winning the Best Talent award, Iven Shrestha and Shreya Verma bagging the Best Dressed titles and Pratibimb Aryal going home with the People’s Choice award.

The formal programme was followed by a mouthwatering dinner and a DJ session. The event was a fantastic introduction to the student life at BMC, as students were able to display their talent and bond with new friends and seniors. We would like to thank the BMC Student Committee for their outstanding efforts in organizing the wonderful event. We hope you all enjoyed and are ready for the next party!!
