Guidelines for Scholarship:

British Model College Scholarship programme is dedicated to students who wish to pursue Science and Management Education in A-Levels at British Model College as per the following:

ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE SCHEME AND SELECTION PROCEDURE

Admission for TBC will be open between the months of April-May every year. Students can get an application form from the TBC admission department, which will cost NRs 500.00.

Class 10 (SEE) passed out students of the current Academic Year, who meet the admission criteria for TBC, will be eligible for scholarships. Scholarships will be based on SEE academic records and the CBET exams conducted by TBC in between June-July every year.

Any student who is eligible for a scholarship must submit all relevant documents in their original form.

In one year, students are eligible for a scholarship towards(and not exceeding)one term(3 months)of their studies.

As the course is delivered in English, nominated candidates should have a solid knowledge of English and be able to fluently speak in English and comprehend lessons that are delivered in English without any difficulties.

TBC will publish and inform eligible students through the website and they must email to confirm within 7days to confirm whether or not they are prepared to accept the scholarship.

Any candidates who do not reply within 7 days of TBC notifying them of their scholarship will no longer be considered for a scholarship and the award will be given to the next eligible candidate on the merit list.

  • If the total number of scholarships in any category is not fulfilled then it will be allocated to another available category.
  • The decision of the scholarship committee shall be final in this regard. The scholarship committee shall be constituted by the Director.

 

Extension / Discontinuation / Cancellation of Scholarship:

A scholarship under the scheme is renewable on a term basis up to AS Level in the same stream. The renewal will depend on:

  • The student maintaining grade as shown in the table above in the preceding examination.
  • 85% attendance.
  • The student not being involved in any activities that go against the rules and policies of The British College.
