During A-Levels, you have your academic life narrowed down, planned out, and all ready to go. You’re walking into a classroom each day, learning and writing, studying and note-taking—but there has to be something more, right?

So, when your schedule is busy, your minutes feel crammed, and all your brain has on the go is constant academia, where do you go? What do you do? Well, here at TBC, Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) are offered as exclusively non-academic activities for you to fully get that switch-off you’re looking for!

While it’s not compulsory, it’s highly encouraged due to all the benefits you can get from joining one of TBC’s many impressive rosters of CCA opportunities! CCA encourages you to try out any number of groups - whether you want to see the world through a camera in Photography, or get involved in plays in the Drama group to truly shed the weight of your own self for a while, or get stuck into any of the impressive sports teams - TBC has it all!

If you’re someone who prides yourself on your culture and country, there are many cultural activities that include Rangoli, creating and flying your own kites, Christmas performances, and sports days! Whatever activity you choose, they are all designed to optimise your own student spirit and encourage you to see the world from a different angle - all the while providing that much-needed outlet away from your studies.

However, it doesn’t stop there! TBC also offers Dance teams, Fashion opportunities, and Community Service and Outreach for you to get involved in the local area and represent The British College! Or, if you’re someone with an ear for a good tune, try giving any of the Music classes a go! Not to mention travel - previously, students have taken expedition tours of all sorts, from hiking to kayaking to getting out on the streets of Nepal, and learning more about the local culture.

So let yourself get lost in these activities and switch off for a while. Immerse yourself alongside other students and have fun, develop your own skills in life, and find out where Co-Curricular Activities could take you—and who knows? You might even learn a completely new skill … or two!

You can get in touch by calling TBC or dropping a line in our online chat option. We’re here to help and provide you with further information at any time! You can also have a read-up on the general CCA goals TBC we have outlined for you right here!
